He obtained Fellow West African College of Surgeon (FWACS),Fellow, Medical College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FMCOG), Fellow Medical College of Emergency Medicine (FMCEM) , Doctor of Medicine (MD) National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria , Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from University of Central Nicaragua,

He is Bill and Melinda Gates Fellow 2004 of Johns Hopkins University, USA.
